THE ADVENTURE FESTIVAL  - DANISH TOUR (on a 1950's Long-John!) 

Mikkel Dal Hende (co-founder of The Adventure Festival) is travelling over 1100km around Denmark on a one-geared 1950’s long-john. Mikkel will meet the locals and explore the Danish landscape. He will sleep in a tent in the forest, in backyards or where ever the invitation originates. He will be filming the expedition to make a short documentary about the trip.

The Purpose is To promote travelling by bicycle, and show the Danish population that you don’t need expensive, new gear or spend a lot of money to go on an adventure. You can jump on your old bike, cook food over the fire, sleep in a tent, see beautiful places and meet interesting people in your own backyard.

Who can join in? EVERYONE can join. You can cycle along with Mikkel on the route for as far and long you want to. School groups, corporates, families, adventurous, bike enthusiasts, you name it. Join in on your unicycle, mountainbike or city bike, the more fun the better. The pace will be slow and fun.

All Funds will go towards the purpose of inspiring families, kids, young people and adults to get in to nature and go on an adventure with the equipment they already have via the Adventurous Souls Aps community outreach projects.

Dates:  20 May 2024 - 22 June 2024 Depart København Monday 20th May 2024 from Rådhuspladsen 10.00hrs, Return København Saturday 22 June 2024 Cafe Globen, 16.00hrs

Week 21: (20 may - 26 may) København, Køge, Møn, Falster, Lolland, Langeland, Svendborg, Odense.

Week 22: (27 May -  2 June) Odense, Middelfart, Vejle, Hvide Sande, Ramme Thyborøn, Thy Nationalpark, Klitmøller

Week 23: (3 June - 9 June) Klitmøller, Thy Lejren, Fjerritslev, Aalborg.

Week 24: (10 June - 16 June) Aalborg, Ranum, Viborg, Silkeborg, Århus.

Week 25: (17 June - 22 June) Århus, Sjællands Odde, Nykøbing Sjælland, Tisvilde, Helsingør, Klampenborg, København.

There will be activations in the following cities/towns:
København, Svendborg, Odense, Ramme, Thy Nationalpark, Klitmøller, Aalborg, Ranum, Viborg, Silkeborg, Århus, Helsingør, Klampenborg, København.
